New Membership Booklet Made Available Sunday, On Web Today

 People who attend PCC come from a variety of backgrounds. We vary in age, understanding of what it means to be a Christian, previous church experience, familiarity with Scripture, training in discipleship, understanding of biblical teachings, strength of personal walk with the Lord, understanding of church membership, and level of commitment. These differences, along with the fact that it is difficult for us to get to know everyone as well as we would like, make it necessary to establish a common ground of understanding as the basis for church life. This is the very intent of a booklet we will make available to prospective members of PCC. It will educate them about our beliefs and ministry. This booklet includes fundamental teachings for the Christian life as well as specific information on PCC. Church membership is not a final destination in your walk with God or relationship with PCC. It is, however, a useful step in expressing commitment to what God is doing at PCC and to the other people in the body. May God use this booklet to help make you an effective church member and, more importantly, an effective disciple of Christ. February 14th, 2007 The Elders will report back this Sunday in a meeting following our service on the possibility of purchasing the land and manufactured home on the north side of the Finn Hill church property . We will present and discuss our findings, address questions and recommend our church family approve the purchase of the property. Please continue to pray that we would all have God’s wisdom and heed his leading as we humbly seek the Lord’s will for our church.
