Marge Stiles died on Sunday morning at Martha and Mary in Poulsbo. Marge joined our church early in its history, but because of her failing health she has not been with us in worship for a couple of years. I (Pastor Lincoln) have been visiting with Marge weekly and can testify that her love for the Lord and His Word never failed. Marge’s husband, also a friend of mine, Len Stiles preceded her in death in 1996. She leaves behind four children, Dick, Leane, Don, and Dave, as well as 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The service for Marge will be held tomorrow, Thursday, at Miller Woodlawn’s chapel in Bremerton at 11:00 AM. “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?” (John 11:25-26) A bittersweet blessing - as a result of Marge’s death, her son will be in town and available to share with our church family this Sunday. Dave and Jeanay Stiles of Team Expansion will share about their ministry of church planting in Taiwan. We supported Dave in his theological studies this year with an initial gift of $2000 in 2006.
